TERMS & CONDITIONS — Mobility Hire Limited (Antalya)

 


1. Introduction

1.1. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings, rentals, and use of mobility equipment provided by Mobility Hire Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2. By placing a booking, making payment, or accepting delivery of equipment, the customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1.3. These Terms govern the hire of all mobility equipment, including mobility scooters, wheelchairs, powerchairs, walkers, and any accessories (“Equipment”).

Note: We are a UK-based company operating with authorised suppliers and partners in Türkiye to provide mobility equipment to customers visiting the region.


3. Booking & Confirmation

3.1. Bookings can be made online, via phone, or by email.
3.2. All bookings are subject to availability.
3.3. A booking is confirmed only when payment has been received, whether in full or as a deposit.
3.4. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.


4. Rental Period

4.1. The rental period begins on the confirmed delivery or collection date and ends on the agreed return or collection date.
4.2. Extensions may be granted subject to availability and payment of additional charges.
4.3. Late returns may result in daily hire charges or applicable penalty fees.


5. Delivery & Collection

5.1. Delivery and collection are available within designated service areas in Türkiye through our approved suppliers.
5.2. You must ensure someone is present at the agreed address and time. Failed delivery attempts may incur additional charges.
5.3. Equipment must be returned in the same condition as supplied, allowing for normal wear and tear.


6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1. You agree to use the Equipment safely, responsibly, and in accordance with instructions provided.
6.2. You must notify us immediately of any fault, malfunction, damage, or concern.
6.3. The Equipment must not be used:

  • By anyone other than the named hirer

  • On unsuitable terrain or in unsafe conditions

  • While under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • For commercial purposes unless authorised
    6.4. You are responsible for securing the Equipment when not in use.


7. Damage, Loss & Theft

7.1. You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft occurring during the rental period.
7.2. Costs for repair, replacement, or excessive cleaning may be charged accordingly.
7.3. Theft must be reported to the local police, and a copy of the report provided to us.


8. Payments & Charges

8.1. Rental fees must be paid before or at the start of the rental period unless otherwise agreed.
8.2. Accepted payment methods include card payment, bank transfer, or other approved options.
8.3. Additional charges may apply for:

  • Late return of Equipment

  • Damage caused by negligence or misuse

  • Loss of keys, chargers, baskets, or accessories

  • Call-out fees related to customer misuse


9. Cancellations & Refunds

9.1. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled delivery may be refunded, minus administrative fees.
9.2. Cancellations within 48 hours of delivery may be non-refundable.
9.3. Returning Equipment early does not entitle you to a refund unless otherwise required by UK law.
9.4. If we cancel a booking due to unavailability or operational issues, a full refund will be issued.


10. Safety & Instructions

10.1. Equipment must be used only as intended, following safety instructions.
10.2. We are not liable for injuries or accidents caused by misuse or failure to follow safety guidance.


11. Liability

11.1. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for:

  • Injuries resulting from misuse or negligence

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Indirect or consequential losses
    11.2. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total hire fee paid.


12. Faults & Breakdowns

12.1. If the Equipment develops a fault not caused by misuse, we will aim to repair or replace it promptly through our suppliers.
12.2. Breakdowns resulting from misuse may incur repair charges.


13. Privacy & Data Protection

13.1. Personal data is collected and processed only for booking, operational, and communication purposes.
13.2. We do not share personal data with third parties except as required by law or for operational delivery with our suppliers.


14. Termination

14.1. We may terminate the rental agreement immediately if you breach these Terms, misuse the Equipment, or fail to make required payments.
14.2. Upon termination, Equipment must be returned or made available for collection immediately.


15. Governing Law

15.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK Contract Law.
15.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
