REFUND POLICY

At Mobility Hire Limited, we aim to provide clear and fair refund terms so customers understand their rights when cancelling or modifying a booking.

This Refund Policy applies to all mobility equipment rented through our website or customer service channels.


1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on when you cancel your booking relative to the scheduled delivery time. All cancellations must follow the rules outlined in our Cancellation Policy.

Refunds are issued as follows:

1.1 Cancellations made 72 hours or more before delivery

  • Eligible for an 80% refund

  • 20% administrative fee applies

  • Refund issued to your original payment method

1.2 Cancellations made between 48–72 hours before delivery

  • Eligible for an 80% refund

  • 20% administrative fee still applies

1.3 Cancellations made 48 hours or less before delivery

  • No refund is available

  • This includes same-day cancellations or changes


2. Non-Refundable Situations

You are not entitled to a refund if:

  • You cancel within 48 hours of delivery

  • You fail to show up at the delivery location

  • You provide incorrect delivery information

  • You refuse the equipment at delivery

  • You return the equipment earlier than scheduled

  • Equipment is unavailable for use due to customer misuse or negligence


3. Refunds for Faulty or Incorrect Equipment

If equipment arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you must notify us immediately.

We will:

  1. Repair or replace the equipment wherever possible, OR

  2. Provide a partial or full refund if a suitable replacement cannot be supplied

Refunds in these cases are handled on a case-by-case basis and do not fall under the standard cancellation rules.


4. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is approved:

  • It will be processed within 5–10 business days

  • Bank or payment provider delays are outside our control


5. Our Right to Issue a Refund

We may issue a full refund if:

  • Equipment becomes unavailable

  • Unexpected operational issues occur

  • Extreme weather or safety concerns prevent delivery

  • We cancel the booking for reasons outside your control
