Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Mobility Hire Limited, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled for mobility equipment rentals.

By placing a booking with us, you agree to the terms below.


1. General Cancellation Rules

Cancellations must be made by contacting us directly via:

The time of cancellation is based on when we receive your written or verbal notice.


2. Cancellation Fees

2.1 Cancellations made 72 hours or more before delivery

If you cancel 72 hours or more before your scheduled delivery time:

  • A 20% administrative fee will be deducted from your refund.

  • The remaining 80% will be refunded to your original payment method.

This fee covers processing, scheduling, supplier preparation, and administrative labour already completed.


2.2 Cancellations made within 48–72 hours before delivery

If you cancel between 48 and 72 hours before delivery:

  • Your booking is not fully refundable.

  • A 20% administrative fee still applies.

  • The remaining 80% will be refunded.


2.3 Cancellations made 48 hours or less before delivery

If you cancel 48 hours or less before the scheduled delivery:

  • No refund will be issued.

  • This is because equipment, supplier logistics, and transport arrangements have already been confirmed and reserved exclusively for your booking.


3. No-Show Policy

If our delivery team arrives and:

  • You are not at the location, or

  • You refuse delivery, or

  • You provided an incorrect address

This is treated as a same-day cancellation, and no refund will be issued.


4. Early Returns

If you choose to return the equipment earlier than the agreed rental period:

  • No partial refund will be given for unused rental days.


5. Booking Changes (Rescheduling)

You may request a change in your delivery date/time:

  • 72+ hours before delivery: free to reschedule.

  • 48–72 hours: may incur additional fees depending on supplier availability.

  • 48 hours or less: changes cannot be guaranteed and may be treated as a cancellation with no refund.


6. Our Right to Cancel

Mobility Hire Limited reserves the right to cancel your booking due to:

  • Equipment becoming unavailable

  • Operational issues

  • Safety concerns

  • Supplier or logistics disruption

In such cases, you will receive a full refund, and no cancellation fees will apply.


7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed:

  • Within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
